St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about how you’ll celebrate! 

Whether your plans include gathering your friends + family for a boozy brunch before a local parade, or hosting a kid-friendly day of activities, this holiday is the perfect excuse to host a party! 

We’ve gathered some tips to make your St. Patrick’s Day party sham-ROCK!

Plan + Prep beforehand

As the host, planning and prepping will make things easier for you the day of the party. Pick food + drinks that you can prep in batches so you don’t spend hours in the kitchen during your party. 

Disposable champagne flutes and gold disposable utensils will elevate the look of your spread, while making for an easy clean-up.

Utilize items you already have

Gather decor inspiration from around your house to save money. Indoor plants are a cost-effective way to decorate your table for St. Patrick’s Day, because they are green, and you likely already have some in your home. Taper candles are also a great way to elevate your table scape (we recommend gold for St. Patrick’s Day!)

Food + Drink

This is, arguably, the most important part of any party. This is a fun holiday, so choose menu items that are green + festive! We plan on making Sparkling Shamrock Mimosas!

Sparkling Shamrock Mimosa recipe:

Ingredients:

• 1 bottle of Champagne/Prosecco
• 1 bottle of blue liquor (ie. Blue Curacao) 
• Orange juice
• Optional: Green sugar crystals
• Optional: gold edible glitter

Directions:

Run a wet paper towel along the rim of your glass, then roll the top of the glass in green sugar crystals to create a fun + festive rim. Next, pop your champagne and fill the glass halfway. Fill the glass with your desired amount of orange juice + top with enough Blue Curacao to turn the drink green. Stir in a few dashes of edible glitter to make your drink sparkle. Don’t forget to cheers with a friend!
