In the visually-driven world of communication, we’ve gathered insights from CEOs and design experts on how to make a lasting impression. From utilizing engaging infographics to applying the rule of thirds for impact, explore the seven strategies these professionals recommend for integrating visual elements into your communications.
The best way to increase impact in your visual communications is to create established branding for your organization, and then stick to it! Using the colors, fonts, and aesthetics that make sense for you will create brand recognition, help people resonate with you, and will make a lasting impact on your audience. For instance, if you scroll past a post on social media that’s advertising summer shorts for the whole family, with blue and white design elements, a bit of a nostalgic vibe to the photos, and a sans-serif block font, you probably know without seeing anything else that it’s an ad for Old Navy. In my role at The Event Company, I work with clients to establish branding for their events. As my colleagues build out the look of the event itself, I work alongside them to ensure the branding comes across on marketing materials, social media, advertisements, and in the news. Impactful communications start with memorable branding that sets you apart from others!
